My Cold Shower.

Chapter 1.

Keith’s Proposal.

   Keith was kneeling on the sky blue carpet on one knee with a diamond ring inside of a black casing with black velvet inside covering the ring around it. He was on his one knee for his blonde beautiful girlfriend Elliot; she was wearing a dark blue dress with black leggings. She had just come back from the bar with the two best friends Melody and JD who were standing to her side. Melody stood there smiling, she was so happy for her. JD was not so happy, he and Elliot have and quite a past, they have been with each other quite a few times but, Elliot didn’t know this but JD still had feelings for her. Even after JD crushed her and then she crushed him. Their relationship always ended has a train wreck, but he didn’t care, he always thought they would end up together.

 Elliot stood there looking at Keith who had a proud grin on his face knowing she was going to say yes. She brought her hand away from her face to leave her shocked face there, because she could not believe she was going to marry Keith, she thought she would never be with anyone like him. She started to fan herself with her hand and her eyes swelled up with tears about to be let go then she said, “Yes,” She started to bounce up and down trying not to cry and still fanning herself. “Oh my god, yes.”She smiled brightly not believing this was happening

 Keith then smiled jollyful and made a fist punch through the air. “Awesome,” he was so excited he repeated what he just said. “Awesome, okay.” Elliot put her hand out and spread her fingers for Keith to put the ring onto her finger. She stood there bright and breezy trying her best not to move because she was so happy. Keith then removed the ring from the casing, he put it down on the carpet floor, he was about to put it on her finger, he took one last look at the ring which was glistening in the light.

 “This is so romantic,” Elliot assumed, the Keith started to have some hassle trying to get the ring on her finger. He made a slight noise thinking that this was going to end bad. “Okay, it’s a little tight. Just push a little harder.” She looked at the ring, and thought how pretty it looked, she then wished it would just go onto her finger and there would be no hassle. Keith then suddenly pushed harder and looked shocked after he noticed he cut her finger slightly. Elliot winced in pain; she was trying to keep calm. “Oh, got a little skin there, no problem.” JD and Melody stood there feeling nervous, and making faces knowing something was gonna go wrong. They then both looked at Keith to see how he was doing. Keith was still kneeling trying to keep his balance, struggling to get it on.

 Melody was anxiously holding her collar knowing what was going to happen next. “Here come the fricks.” She looked up to the ceiling pretending she didn’t say that.

 Elliot then lost it and broke. “Just get the muthafricking ring off my muthafricking finger.” Keith then managed to get it off quickly; he was scared that Elliot was going to take it out on him. “Frick, frick, frick.” She yelped quietly to herself.

 Keith then got up and sighed looking at the ring and speculating why it didn’t go on.”It needs to be re-sized.” He looked at Elliot who was standing there wide eyed.

 “Okay, Keith sweetie you know how I’m crazy right?” She said trying to keep it together.

 “Defiantly.”

 Elliot stood there holding her finger which was still in pain, she then was relieved when she heard the answer. “Oh thanks goodness,” Elliot put her hands in front of her just in case he was going to leap at her after she said this, “Because, I’m so sorry but I’m going to have to take back my yes,” Keith then looked down to the floor looking disappointed. Elliot moved one of her blonde curls out of her face, and then explained why she had to take back her yes so he would understand and feel better. “See, you have to understand, I have dreamt of this moment since I was a very little girl,” she pointed to the ring Keith was holding. “The ring fitted perfectly, my eyes swelled up and I said, ‘Yes Oh my God yes.’” She acted it exactly the same she did before, “but with that exactly reflection.” She then looked at Keith sternly.

 Keith shrugged. “I’ll fix it, just tell me when you want me to ask you again,” he knew this is want she would want.

 “You mean you will let me plan out my own proposal?” She sounded startled.

 “Sure.” JD and Melody looked over to Elliot to see her answer JD looked concerned.

 “Yes,” She whispered to herself. “Sweet.”
